Artist's Comments

I made this wire cat as a graduation gift for a friend. It is sculpted from various gauges of galvanized steel and (recycled!) copper wire 12g - 24g. I used pennies for the eyes. The wire weaving was inspired by a "How to Make a Dreamcatcher" kit I read as a child, oddly enough.

I can't imagine the amount of time and sore fingers that have gone into creating "Spaz" the Cat by ~randomirrelevant. I really like the spiral and uniform patterns that make up the limbs and shape of the cat. (Featured by ^Thebuild)
